Julie's husband Gary is a Pilot for Sierra Life Flight. He has flown in the Eastern Sierra for over 25 years. Gary moved to Mammoth Lakes as a child with his parents, Elliott and Thelma Thompson in 1969. They opened Mammoth Lakes first Vacation Rental Agency in 1970 and have been conducting business ever since. Julie has over two decades of experience in Property Management. She manages numerous personal Investment Properties throughout California, Utah and Arizona. She also manages Investment Properties for her clients. Prior to her Real Estate and Property Management career, Julie enjoyed 11 years as a Senior Litigation Specialist for a Major Insurance Carrier in Century City, California. The art of Negotiation has been her talent for the past 25 years.

Julie and Gary have two beautiful children. Stephanie is 14 years old and attends the Mammoth Lakes Academy (www.MammothLakesAcademy.org). Steven is 13 years old and attends the Mammoth Middle School. In the Winter Season, Stephanie and Steven are on the Mammoth Mountain Race and Free Ride Team. Both kids have been on the Mammoth Mountain Race Team since they were 5 years old.

Julie is extremely active in her community and has a deep respect for the Eastern Sierra Nevada. Gary and Julie are members of the Valentine Reserve Council of Directors University of California Santa Barbara. She is the President of the Middle School PTO, past President of the Elementary School PTO and on the Board for 7 years. Julie is also on the Board for the Mammoth Ski and Snowboard Education Foundation, The NOW Foundation and the Music Society of the Eastern Sierra.
